there are a few things which i consider my bare essentials in my make-up bag.

1.) a good moisturizer

2.) i love my laura mercier primer

3.) liquid foundation

4.) pressed powder just to make sure everything sticks

5.) CONCEALER – possibly the most importat

while i was away for work – i came home to see a benefit gift bag sitting neatly on my dressing table.

the folks at benefit had recently launched two new products – the pore professional and girl meets pearl –  liquid pearl  for face.

i tried both products. i didn’t find much use to the pore professional because i don’t have a pore problem. i did asked rudi if i could use it on him just to test the effectiveness. that didn’t go well with him. so i have no way of testing it.

i like girl meets pearl benefit’s latest liquid highlighter. glaze over the cheek bones or just above the brow bone area and there you have it…instant botox! i don’t have much of a nose and i tried to create a fake nose bridge – a word of caution – don’t use too much or else you’ll down the road of being buddies with joan rivers.

i also experimented using it as a primer over my liquid foundation. i like the luxurious texture of girl meets pearl. very appropriate for a night out!!
